The progress continues as we transform the empty space into what will soon be a clean, vibrant training facility.

Short of a few minor setbacks so typical of such a project, we’ve had some serious forward progress as everything comes together. The building materials were delivered this past week (Thanks to Jordan for the assist in hauling all that sheetrock). The new walls are going up, doors are being hung, and the frame for the mats is awaiting their arrival later this week.
The phones have been installed, and the wireless is up and running. Our phone number is (916) 771-0525. With all the sawing, drilling, and colorful language that comes with construction, we may not hear the phone, so please leave a message and we’ll be sure to get back to you a.s.a.p.!
Provided everything goes as planned, it has been confirmed our official Werneck Family Jiu Jitsu sign should be lighting up the neighborhood by the end of the week!
A number of people have asked about scheduling. We should have a preliminary schedule up in time for next weeks post. Thanks for your patience as Cassio and I work out a convenient schedule to fit your needs!
We are busy getting the new location ready for action. Much like an athlete months out from an upcoming competition, we’re in build-up mode. We’ve got to build a strong foundation. Rather than working on strength and cardio, however, we’re working on floors and walls. (although running that tile scraper was a pretty good work-out!)
The walls are going up this week, a fresh coat of paint will clean up the walls, and the mats are on their way! As we’re prepping the physical location, we’re also busy in the background, hammering out the details, like schedules and such. As soon as we have more information on class times, we’ll let you know by posting it here.
Here’s some exciting news! Cassio Werneck is opening up a new location in Roseville, California. We will be offering his world-class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to all ages, in a fun, family environment.
